When considering a new construction home, buyers also need to be aware of the builder's policy regarding buyer representation by a real estate agent. If a buyer visits and registers at the builder's site, and their agent is not with them at the time, they may be forfeiting their right to independent representation. For this reason, all initial buyer visits to builder site offices should be with their selected real estate agent, or the buyer should NOT register with the builder.
