The Auburn Park subdivision of Highlands Ranch, Colorado is located in zip code 80126, on the west side of Venneford Ranch Road about 1/2 mile north of Highlands Ranch Boulevard. This places Auburn Park in the area of Highlands Ranch generally known as Northridge. Auburn Park consists of about 200 single family homes on Prairie View Drive and several cul-de-sacs branching off of Prairie View. Homes in Auburn Park date from about 1988 to 1992. Since they are among the earlier homes built in Highlands Ranch, they are on larger lots, generally from .22 to .35 ac. Many Auburn Park homes back to open space, and those on the western edges also generally have very nice mountain views to the west, overlooking Northridge Park. One issue to look out for in Auburn Park is that the wood shingle roofs that these homes were originally built with should have been replaced by now. Approximately 60% or more of the roofs on similar age homes in Auburn Park have already been replaced. If a home you are looking at in Auburn Park still has its original wood shingle roof, plan on replacing it right away.

Toepher Park provides easy access to the many Highlands Ranch trails along a natural area and Sand Creek, a small seasonal creek east of Toepher Park that runs north into Sand Creek Park.
