Highlands Ranch Colorado Subdivisions and Areas

Highlands Ranch is commonly, and somewhat arbitrarily, divided into four major areas, per the map below. Each major area has many smaller subdivisions within it. Each Highlands Ranch subdivision may have multiple Douglas County filing numbers, such as: Highlands Ranch Filing 123a, 123b, 123c, etc. There are no hard and fast rules for how a subdivision name is entered in the MetroList MLS. Sometimes, listing agents will use the filing numbers as the subdivision name in our MLS, which can be confusing since no good cross-reference of filing numbers to subdivision names seems to exist. They may also, and sometimes incorrectly, attribute the property and its filing to a particular named subdivision. These factors make searching for homes in specific Highlands Ranch areas and subdivisions very problematic, as well as confusing, especially for home buyers who are relocating and are not familiar with its areas and subdivisions. With our unique and well researched Highlands Ranch area and subdivision maps, we hope that searching for homes for sale in Highlands Ranch can be greatly simplified. We hope you agree.
