Denver Colorado Metro Area Gated Subdivisions

Gated subdivisions are very rare in the Denver metro area. They are so rare that the Denver MetroList MLS does not provide any code or flag that listing agents can enter to indicate that the home is in a gated subdivision, so there is no easy way to find or search for homes in gated subdivisions in our MLS! Part of the reason this is so, is probably because most Denver area residents do not seem to have the same security concerns that may be prevalent in other areas of the country where gated subdivisions are more common and popular.

In any case, if you feel that you really must be in a gated subdivision, be aware that prices in the very few exclusive gated communities that do exist in the Denver Metro area will generally start in the $600,000 range, and go up from there. There are very few gated subdivision in the Denver area with homes priced at less than $600,000.
