Westridge Recreation Center on Highlands Ranch Blvd

Westridge is generally considered the part of Highlands Ranch that lies south of County Line Road, west of Broadway and east of US85 (Santa Fe). Most of Westridge, the subdivisions west of S Broadway, are in zip code 80129. Subdivisions east of South Broadway are in zip code 80126.

Westridge is not just one subdivision, but a collection of a wide variety of different subdivisions. Construction dates vary from about 1988 for some of the older homes in the northern subdivisions, to 2012 for the newest homes in Backcountry.

All but one of the Westridge subdivisions listed here are included in territory governed by the Highlands Ranch Community Association, so they do all have access to the Highlands Ranch recreation centers. Verona, a new age restricted 55+ community at County Line Rd between Santa Fe and Lucent, is not within HRCA boundaries, even though it does have a Highlands Ranch address.

One of the main features in Westridge is the Highlands Ranch Town Center area at Highlands Ranch Pkwy and Lucent Blvd, which includes extensive shopping, dining and recreational activities. This area includes a Home Depot and a Super Target as the anchor stores. Just east of the main Town Center area is a RTD Park & Ride lot, with express bus service to the RTD light rail station at Santa Fe and Mineral, and additional bus service up Broadway to downtown, and another bus through Highlands Ranch and to the light rail end of line station in Lone Tree. The Douglas County Library system’s Highlands Ranch Branch Library is also located just east of the RTD Park & Ride lot.
